My dear Mrs Richter
We both send you
& Dr. Richter our warmest
congratulations on the joyous
news you bring us. May
God give your child all
happiness! It was
a pleasure to see your letter too,
because it shows us you are
better in health for you
must have suffered terribly.
We have a new Baby
who is a
joy a little
girl with long welsh name
Gwenddydd (day-bright).
She has been ill lately, but
is nearly well again -
The little boy is splendid I
a photo of him, as he
[Seite 2]
was last summer; I forget if I
had already sent you one.
has also been in
splendid health We had our
Xmas [??] in the New House. & are
partially living in it already.
I only work in the New Studio.
My warm love to your husband
& tell him I grieve to say, I
cannot afford the expense of
an orchestra down here
next summer for the
hours warming. My expenses
have been too heavy.
We shall look forward to your visit
with the greatest pleasure.
With our Kindest Regards
Ever yours sincerely
Hubert Herkomer
